In early 2012, the ruin saw its beginnings as a collaborative effort between Burlington, VT natives Matt Barron and Nic Vartuli. Stalwarts in northern New England’s small but viable metal scene, the pair wrote an initial burst of material that would become the template for an LP’s worth tracks. The full length will be released on March 27th.
